“He’s more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.” -Emily Bronte
Wedding season is in full swing, and with that comes the start of engagement session season! Becca and Jordan’s was our first of 2017, and was too perfect for words. We worked with Becca years ago when she was a bridesmaid in one of our very first weddings, so we already knew how photogenic she was. Pair her with Jordan, and you have a photographer’s dream.
We had picked the date for their engagement session months in advance and crossed our fingers that the weather would cooperate. Mother nature certainly didn’t disappoint. We were gifted blue skies, a soft breeze, and tiny buds as trees and flowers sprung to life around us.
The only thing more beautiful than early spring in Bald Eagle State Park was Becca, who radiates a calm happiness wherever she goes. Jordan was so quick-whitted, and they both laughed easily as we travelled through the park. We talked about their futures and they poked fun at each other in a way only those who know everything about you can. We had such a great time getting to know them both better, learning about their journey together and where it’s going to lead them. It’s such an honor to play a tiny part in it. We’re already counting down the days until their wedding!
